Inspired by the works Sandhi Schimmel Gold attended Arizona State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. She furthered her studies at the New School in New York and attended mosaic workshops in Italy, Turkey and Cyprus.
